Remembrance Parade 2015

Preston Scouts during the service.

Preston Scouts during the service.

Remebrance Sunday sees a parade come through the city centre to pay Preston’s respects to those killed in conflict. The parade, on 9th November, was led by the 4th Battalion Duke of Lancaster Regiment and 3rd Medical Regiment, it was superb to see members from Scout groups all across our District join the parade. As always, the parade was a fitting tribute and very humbling to be a part of.

After the parade, the Scouts went to Preston City Trampoline Club for a fantastic session led by two highly skilled instructors. Ketran, leader at Central Preston took the opportunity to invest two Scouts on a trampoline!

Many thanks to the leaders who organised the event and represented Scouting in Preston superbly.
