We’re looking for new volunteers!

As a new Scouting year gathers pace, we’re looking for people to help us deliver Scouting in some important roles. The vacancies are listed below and each one has a link to the role description to tell you more about what’s involved.

District Youth Commissioner (and deputies)

Job Description | Local Youth Commissioners can bring a huge number of benefits to local Scouting and can help lead the work towards our Youth Shaped strategic objective.

Scout Active Support Unit Manager

Job Description | The SASU Manager is responsible for the management, leadership and day to day running of the Scout Active Support Unit who help section leaders deliver the programme and special events, alongside social events for the leadership teams.

District Scout Network Commissioner

Job Description | The District Scout Network Commissioner is integral to the delivery of our 18 – 25 Network provision, providing guidance and assistance with the programme of activities for the section.

District Explorer Scout Commissioner

Job Description | The District Explorer Scout Commissioner supports the Explorer Scout Units and their leaders, leading the District team to provide an action-packed district programme.

Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs

Job Description | The ADC for the Cub section leads the district Cub team, ensuring that cub packs within the district have the required support and a jam-packed programme of district events, including competitions and camps.
